The break room, reset before Monday.
The one room in the office that belongs to everybody and to nobody
Every office has the same unspoken argument, and it happens in the kitchen. The sink with two mugs in it that becomes six by Thursday. The microwave nobody wants to open. The fridge that quietly becomes a science project because throwing out someone else’s lunch feels like an act of aggression.
It is a shared space with no owner, which is exactly why it degrades faster than any other part of an office. Limpio resets it on every visit: counters and appliance surfaces wiped, sink cleared, bins emptied and relined, recycling handled separately. It stops being a conversation your team has to keep having.
What break room service covers
Reset on every visit, so Monday starts clean.
Counters & Appliance Surfaces
Counters, backsplash and the outside of the microwave, toaster and coffee machine, which pick up more than anyone expects.
Sink & Tap
Sink cleared, scrubbed and dried, tap and handles disinfected. This is the surface everyone touches with wet hands and nobody cleans.
Fridge Exterior & Handles
Outside surfaces and handles every visit. Interior cleanouts can be scheduled on a frequency you set, since that one needs your team’s agreement first.
Bins Emptied & Relined
Every bin emptied, relined and staged, with the liner actually replaced rather than the bag shaken out.
Recycling, Separated
Recycling collected and kept separate rather than merged into the same bag on the way out, which is what makes a recycling program real.
The Room Reset
Chairs back, tables wiped, surfaces clear. The room looks handed over rather than abandoned.
Shared space fails for a reason, and it is not laziness
A break room has diffuse responsibility built into it. Everybody uses it, nobody owns it, and the cost of dealing with a mess that is not yours always feels higher than the cost of leaving it. That is not a culture problem you can fix with a sign on the wall, and the sign on the wall is usually proof that somebody already tried.
The fix is to give the room an owner who is not one of your employees. When the reset is scheduled and written into the scope of work, the room goes back to zero on a known rhythm and never accumulates past the point where somebody has to raise it in a meeting.
What you get back is not a cleaner kitchen. It is one fewer thing your team has passive aggressive feelings about, and one fewer thing you have to mediate.

Common Questions
Do you clean the inside of the fridge?
The exterior and handles on every visit. Interior cleanouts we schedule at a frequency you choose, usually monthly, because clearing out food needs your team to know it is coming. We can post the date so nobody loses a lunch by surprise.
Do you handle recycling separately from trash?
Yes. Recycling is collected and kept separate through to disposal, not merged into the same bag on the way out. If your building has specific streams or a hauler with particular rules, we follow them.
Do you wash dishes left in the sink?
We clear and clean the sink itself so it does not sit full. Personal dishes are usually better handled by a house rule than by a vendor, but if you want them run through a dishwasher as part of the visit, we can write that into the scope.
Is break room service part of the regular plan?
Yes. It is included in office cleaning and in janitorial services, with the frequency set during the walkthrough.
